Armed Carjacking in Rodgers Forge
Posted on March 27, 2019 by Admin
From Councilman David Marks:  Last night, there was an armed carjacking in the 200 block of Stanmore Road where the victim was approached by two male suspects as she was sitting in her car in her driveway.  The one suspect pointed a gun at her, demanded her money, and then the keys to the car. She handed over her purse and the one suspect fled. The suspect with the gun then stole her vehicle.
Following a pursuit by police, officers lost sight of the vehicle at The Alameda and Woodburne Avenue in Baltimore City. The vehicle was then recovered on Winston Avenue in Baltimore City. The vehicle will be towed to Police Headquarters on Monday.   The police are actively investigating the site of the carjacking and following all leads.
There will be an additional presence in Rodgers Forge and I have personally spoken to the Towson precinct captain.  I appreciate all the work he and his officers are providing.
This is obviously a very difficult and alarming situation, and my prayers go out to the victim and her family.  I will let you know of any developments.
