Dumpster Day & Bike Exchange this Saturday!

This year’s Dumpster Day will be held this Saturday, May 9! There will be dumpsters available for bulk trash disposal at the Rodgers Forge Elementary School parking lot. The dumpsters should arrive around 8 AM and will be available until noon or when they are full.

Most trash and household items will be accepted. Please note, we will not accept large items that cannot be lifted manually.

We will also have a bike exchange where we will accept bikes of all sizes, scooters, and bike accessories. Drop off a bike at RFES from 8-10am and come get a new bike from 9am-12pm!

ITEMS ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED: asbestos materials (including shingles), acids, antifreeze, caustics, pesticides, chemicals (includes oil and paint), animal carcasses, appliances with freon, batteries drums or tanks (unless clean and cut in half), electronics, explosive or flammable materials, large stumps, liquids or liquid waste, medical or radioactive waste, metal items, wood or logs greater than eight inches in diameter and six feet in length, tires.
