Community Events
Every year, the Rodgers Forge Community Association sponsors the following events and activities.  You can find events on the events calendar by clicking Calendar at the top of the page.
Movie Nights
July through September RFCA sponsors free movies nights at the Tot Lot.   Bring the whole family out one Friday a month to enjoy a film and fellowship.
Annual Community Picnic
The picnic is RFCA’s premier annual event and is held at the Rodgers Forge Tot Lot each June. The event typically includes local food vendors, pony rides, sack races and other games, face-painting, a DJ, a raffle, and other fun activities.
Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny Visit
The Easter Egg Hunt is always a hit with kids who come with their baskets to collect brightly colored plastic eggs with prizes inside. This event is also held at the Tot Lot and the Easter Bunny always makes an appearance for the kids.
Santa Visits
This event has been a tradition for many years in the Forge. Santa makes the rounds to homes with his elf helpers a few days before Christmas to visit with children in their living rooms to ask if they’ve been good and what they would like for Christmas.
Holiday Door Decorating Contest
Residents are encouraged to decorate their doors during the holidays in festive and creative ways. Prizes are awarded to winners in several categories.
Dumpster Day Recycling
Each May, RFCA organizes a bulk recycling pick-up in front of Rodgers Forge Elementary School with the help of Board volunteers and Towson University athletes. This event help residents avoid making extra trips to the County recycling facility and also helps Rodgers Forge maintain its status as one of the top recycling communities in Baltimore County
