If you are applying for something other than a deck, do not use this form. If you are applying for a deck AND other items, please use this form and also fill out a separate application for the other item(s).
Please have any applications in by the 20th of the month for consideration at the first committee meeting of the next month.
Prior to any contracts being signed or before any applications are filed with Baltimore County for a variance, a permit or homeowner’s Historic Designation Tax Credit, homeowners must first receive written approval for external changes to their homes from the RFC, Inc. Architectural Committee or Board of Governors. If you follow the correct procedure with the association, as outlined below, you could avoid unnecessary delays, fees or even possible court costs.
From the covenants: “NO RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE SHALL BE ERECTED, PLACED OR ALTERED ON ANY BUILDING PLOT IN THIS SUBDIVISION UNTIL THE EXTERNAL DESIGN AND LOCATION THEREOF HAS BEEN APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE JAMES KEELTY REALTY CORPORATION, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS.”
The Community Association became the successors to the Keelty Company, when the development was finished. Each year the Board of Governors appoints a committee, which is authorized to approve or disapprove any and all alterations to the exterior of homes in Rodgers Forge.
It is the responsibility of the homeowner to request approval from the committee for any changes to the exterior of the property. To do so, you must submit your request in writing. The committee has prepared the following form to simplify this process.
When submitting a new form, you will be allowed to enter a single attachment. After submitting the form, additional attachments can be added.
